Eagle Radar Plane Render Control

The ARM-AWAC — Eagle, radar plane — extends its wings on Activate and its rotodome spins while it flies. The whole animation is COB-exact from ARMAWAC.cob: Rwing +4.45 elmo / Lwing −4.45 elmo slide at 3.0 elmo/s (1483 ms) and spin radar y c16384 = 90°/s, started by the same call; Deactivate slides the wings back and stop-spin freezes the dome. In the preview the flight hold runs exactly 2 dome turns (8 s → 720° = identical matrix), so stop-spin lands on a full turn and the loop seam is pixel-identical — the _spin_anim freeze convention. SmokeUnit is an engine smoke loop (get opcodes) and stays out of the preview.

COB timeline (ARMAWAC.cob)

  • 0.00–0.40 s — Rest — wings folded, rotodome idle
  • 0.40–1.88 s — Wings extend — Rwing +4.45 elmo / Lwing −4.45 elmo slide (COB Activate, 1483 ms); the rotodome spins up in the same call
  • 1.88–8.40 s — Flight hold — rotodome at 90°/s (spin radar y c16384; preview: exactly 2 turns)
  • 8.40–9.88 s — Wings fold back (COB Deactivate, 1483 ms); stop-spin freezes the dome at 720° (identical matrix)
  • 9.88–10.28 s — Rest — loop close

Everything on this page is compiled COB motion — no preview choreography. The wing slide sign is as written in the COB (verified by the render: the wings move outward). The stop-spin freeze is calibrated to the next full dome turn so the loop closes pixel-identically (seam gate: frame 0 == frame 153). 154 PNG frames at 67 ms.
