Vulture Radar Plane Render Control

The COR-AWAC — Vulture, radar plane — rotates its fins flat on Activate and its rotodome spins in flight. The animation is COB-exact from CORAWAC.cob: Rwing z −90° / Lwing z +90° at 100°/s (900 ms) and spin radar y c16384 = 90°/s from the same call; Deactivate returns the fins and stop-spin freezes the dome. The ARM twin (Eagle) slides its wings instead — same scripts, different mechanism. Preview hold = exactly 2 dome turns (8 s → 720°) so the stop-spin freeze closes the loop pixel-identically. SmokeUnit is an engine smoke loop and stays out of the preview.

COB timeline (CORAWAC.cob)

  • 0.00–0.40 s — Rest — fins up, rotodome idle
  • 0.40–1.30 s — Fins rotate flat — Rwing z −90° / Lwing z +90° (COB Activate, 900 ms); rotodome spins up in the same call
  • 1.30–8.40 s — Flight hold — rotodome at 90°/s (spin radar y c16384; preview: exactly 2 turns)
  • 8.40–9.30 s — Fins rotate back up (COB Deactivate, 900 ms); stop-spin freezes the dome at 720° (identical matrix)
  • 9.30–9.70 s — Rest — loop close

Everything on this page is compiled COB motion — no preview choreography. Fin tilt values are the COB raw targets (16384 BAM = 90°). The stop-spin freeze is calibrated to the next full dome turn so the loop closes pixel-identically (seam gate: frame 0 == frame 144). 145 PNG frames at 67 ms.
