TA Archive is a non-commercial preservation project for the classic RTS Total Annihilation (1997). We respect the intellectual property of others and expect the same in return.
Filing a takedown notice
If you are a copyright holder (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content hosted on ta-archive.com infringes your rights, send a notice to [email protected] including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- The exact URL(s) on this site where the material is located
- Your full name, address, telephone number and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
What happens next
- We will acknowledge your notice within 72 hours
- Material that is sufficiently identified will be removed or disabled promptly while the matter is reviewed
- The affected party may file a counter-notice; if none is received within a reasonable time, the removal stands
Context
This site primarily hosts community-created maps from the late 1990s and early 2000s, contributed freely by their authors to the TA community, as well as references to files still publicly available on established TA archives (TAUniverse/FileUniverse and the Internet Archive). It hosts no original Cavedog game assets or installers.
If you are a community map author and would like your work removed or credited differently, the same email applies — we respond to author requests just as quickly.
