BloodStained - Core Execution Grounds Type: TA Map World: Terragen Created by: AndrewAce3158 Requirements: None Players: 2, 4 Map Size: 8 x 8 Memory: 64MB File Size: 9.37MB Start Positions: 10 --Introduction In the early years of the war the Core used this rigid moon to execute masses of rebbellers in order to terrorise planets' citizens into conformity. Tens of millions of citizens from hundereds of planets, who were apposed to the transfer of consciousness, were transported in ships to this dark moon of Mernare where they were promptly disposed of by Core troops weilding early versions of the light laser. No effort was made to dispose of the bodies, instead they were left to deteriorate on the surface, leaving permanent stains and pools of blood. The Core troops ordered to carry out the executions later became A.K. defenders on Core Prime due to their ruthlessness. However, the Core's mass execution was ineffective, prompting the rebellion to engauge in an enormous, organised retaliation and increasing the support for its actions. --General This is a fairly small map rendered using terragen. It is a dark landscape smothered in streaks of red blood. The four start positions are in the corners. The amount of hills in each area is quite unequal, as you would expect from a map that was randomly generated. The contours on this map line up perfectly. --Resources Unlike most moons Mernare has a thin, but highly active atmosphere that can be used to generate between 15 and 24 energy. There are no geos. Metal is equal in each area, but it is spread out well through the map. --Strategy This is definitely a rush map. Build light units and attack quickly. Use what landforms your area provides in your defense. --Artificial Intelligence The AI on this map definitely will not kill you, but it will put up a reasonable fight. It will attack you with light units after only 6-8 minutes and the attacks will remain constant. If given enough time, the AI also puts up an admirable amount of defense (nothing a few mavericks can't handle). There is not enough metal or time for the enemy to ever use advanced units. As the map is small, AI commanders will occasionally go bumping heads with other Commanders and go d-gunning them. --Tools Used • Terragen - map design and rendering • Photoshop - map editing • Annihilator - importing and creating map • TAE - minimap rendering • Notepad - AI creation, editing OTA file • HPI View/Pack - many functions ReadMe last modified: 28/05/02 For a more up-to-date ReadMe visit: www.tauniverse.com/AndrewAce3158 or alternatively: www.geocities.com/andrewace3158 |
