Suburban Decay

A map for Total Annihilation created by Scott "Twitch" Dahlstrom

=============================================
Briefing follows...
=============================================
Two once proud towns now lie in ruin in the aftermath of a holocoust. The once lush
and beautiful park that each town was proud to call it's own is now overgrown and neglected. Your mission:
Establish a base of operations and erradicate the (insert enemy name here) from the area.

Early recon shows that cataclysmic events, approx. 300 years ago brought about the end of not only these
two cities, but the planets population as well. Botanical research shows that plants on this planet
have an abnormally long lifespan. And, if left to their own devices, will return the world slowly,
but surely, to it's once 'rain forest like' state.

Natural resources:
Botanical: overly abundant
Animal: none
Geologic: medium to dense metalic deposts
Cellestial: Many cities, that have not been overtaken by jungle, offer a wealth of mineral assets in the
form of buildings and vehicles. Volcanic activity appears non-existant, although there are medium
heat readings coming from many of the cities and towns.

Technical Detail
=============================================
Size: 14 X 4
RAM: 16MB

Warning: Not recommended against AI opponents. Standard AI opponents have, thus far in my testing, not proven
worthy adversaries on this map.

Recommended for 2 players, 4 (in team mode) in a pinch. (although all 10 player starts are present, it's just
too small.

Instructions
=============================================
1. If a \maps sub-directory does not all ready exist in your Total Annihilation
 	directory, create one. For example, if Total Annihilation is in:
 	C:\cavedog\totala
	then make a sub-directory:
	C:\cavedog\totala\maps

2.	If your reading this file, I'm assuming that means you must have un-zipped
	the main file. This means you should now have the following files:
	suburban_decay.ota
	suburban_decay.tnt
	s_d_readme.txt

3.	Move the three files listed above into your \maps sub-directory. Of course, it's
	not necessary to keep this text file in there, but I suggest it in case you want to
	re-zip these files to give to someone else. If you do re-distribute this map, please
	give the courtesy of including this readme file.
