Notes:
Well... this map has the limitation that you may not play in a 4 ffa game, because if a player is at the southern area, and his enemy is in the north, the northern player will take the northern resources while keeping his southern enemy in his corner, or, as he has more accesability to the resources, he will kill the southern player inmediatlly, i tried to fix it adding to the southern players more metal resources, but i think that won´t work. However, this map is great in a 2v2 or 1v1 , in 2v2.
The AI plays well, it will not only make ground troops, also some naval units, wich are REALLY important (specially missile ships and milleniums) Why? because what you´re trying to do here is to take the heavily resourced northern area, and THEN make the heavy assault. So,as the lake is very very big, if you build ships, and you have ship predominance there (with a good radar coverage, and good LOS), you have a really good chance to win, because you can kill any type of troops that is trying to go to the north, also, with the river between the mountains, with missile ships, you are able to attack the enemy base without great losses or close combat. First Conclusion: ships are very important, but they´re not everything. This map has got good tidal rates, about 19 energy points, and average wind power, wich can go from 4/5 to 28 Energy ticks as a maximun, also adding that, being a lusch world, it has plenty of trees, also, there are a good amount of stearmvents, one of them is not easy to see, it is in the southern isle of the river. Look for it. Having those amounts of Energy, you´ll probably go by air here, BUT don´t despite Hovers, they could be very usefull because they can save you the amounts of metal if you make ships. So, they could be a good alternative too. Standard ground units will not be a very good alternative if they are used alone.
TACC required, but TAMECHPI will not be a requirement here.
Installation:
Unzip the .Ufo file (Carrera al Norte.ufo) in the directory where the Totala.exe file is located(the standard default is C:\Cavedog\totala), then, PLAY!
Thanks to:
-Kinboat, JoeD and Cavedog for the superb stuff
-You for download the map.
- Midnight Squadron for allowing me to enter to their clan, or go too to the Boneyards v2 UB board, PhoeniX WorX

| TamaÑo del mapa: | 14 x 7 |
| TamaÑo del Archivo(zipeado): | 4 MB |
| Memoria RAM requerida: | 32 MB |
| Autor del tileset | Cavedog |

| Número de jugadores: | 4, en 1v1 o 2v2, FFA no recomendado |
Notas:
