The mod packs on the Units page are downloads full of units — and until now their dialogs were text only. Each pack’s dialog now opens with a strip of the in-game unit pictures, extracted from the pack’s own GAF artwork:
- 420 original build pics recovered — 187 mod packs scanned, 47 of them yielded extractable art (including the icon sets that use TA’s “gadget” GAF variant — the interface icons with pressed/disabled states)
- every pack card now states how many units it carries (e.g. the AC-DC race: 35 units, 12 pics shown + “+23 more”)
- packs whose art is inside Windows installers stay honest: no pics, no guessing
Between the Unit DB and the mod packs, the archive now shows original 1997+ interface art for several hundred units.
